The students guessed how many seeds were in our pumpkin and then used ten frames to count up the total number of seeds. Shane was the winner! He guess that there was 612 seeds in our pumpkin and we counted 644 seeds total. Great job Shane! Seleina and Charlotte got to 'Roll a Monster' during our Halloween Twirl around.
How can you use a balloon to make a toy car move?
The second grade scientists brainstormed ideas and completed the steps in the design process to find a solution to the question. The students worked extremely hard on their personal narrative writing pieces. Today the second grade authors got to read everyone's story. The second grade scientists worked in groups to build something to help reach the top of the whiteboard.
This week the students worked on words with inflected endings. Dan and Shane are writing their words on the iPad.
